What we collect

When you send a request through the booking, estimate, info or contact form, we collect the details you type: your first and last name, phone number, email address (optional), job address or ZIP code, type of floor, approximate size, preferred day and time, and any message you write. If you tick the box, we also record that you agreed to be called or texted.

The chat

The chat host is an automated assistant, not a person. The words you type are sent to our own server so it can reply. If you choose to turn on voice, the audio you record is sent to our own speech service and turned into text. Nothing is recorded until you tap the microphone. Nothing is sent to Vanguard as a request until you review it and tap Send.

How we use it

We use your details to answer your request, contact you about it, and prepare an estimate or consultation. We do not use them for anything unrelated.

Who sees it

Form and chat submissions are sent to our own server and forwarded to the owner's lead inbox. We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for advertising. The service providers that run this website and its email handle it only to deliver the service. Like most websites, our server also keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.

Fonts, cookies and analytics

This site loads two web fonts from Google Fonts, so your IP address reaches Google when a page loads. The site sets no advertising cookies. It keeps a theme choice and a chat counter in your browser's session storage; they are not cookies and are not sent to us.

We do not currently use any analytics tools on this site.

Calls and texts

We call or text you only if you tick the consent box on a form or in the chat. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. If you do not tick the box, we reply by email only. We do not share your phone number or text consent with third parties for their marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep the details you send so we can answer your request and follow up on it. You can ask us at any time to delete them (see your California rights below), and we will, unless the law requires us to keep something.

Your California rights

• Know: ask what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
• Delete: ask us to delete the personal information we collected from you.
• Correct: ask us to fix information that is wrong.
• Opt out: we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
• No retaliation: we will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
